The 6th International Workshop on Seismic Performance of Non-Structural Elements (SPONSE) successfully concluded on March 13, 2026, at the Suzukakedai (Suzukake) Campus of the Institute of Science Tokyo, Japan.

The workshop was a great success, bringing together the scientific community, industry representatives, and professionals to exchange knowledge, share experiences, and discuss the latest advances in the seismic performance of non-structural elements.

Jointly organized by Japan-based academic associations and the International Association for the Seismic Performance of Non-Structural Elements (SPONSE), and hosted by the Multidisciplinary Resilience Research Center (MRRC) of the Institute of Science Tokyo, the workshop provided a valuable opportunity to foster collaboration and strengthen connections between research, industry, and professional practice.
